COVID-19 Protocols

 As the coronavirus pandemic unfolds, we are beginning to understand closing our doors until June 13th is only the beginning of the challenges this pandemic will present.

Like most of you, we had desires for 2020. This was supposed to be our year. Coming out of our bamboo season, rising from the soil, and stepping into our greatness. For a while, it looked promising. Then the coronavirus hit. The world has been impacted, and for many, including us, the impact is severe. 

Even though covid still lingers, it feels like our shutdown was so so long ago. I don't know about y'all but we're still recovering. Some good things came from covid though: community connections, stimulus checks, no traffic and remote work. Still, much has changed with business and it seems like we're starting over, yet again. We still have our agreement at Lake Sheryl and you can find me managing Bese Saka Community Garden, but our business structures are completely different., for the better and hopefully for the last time. 

I have missed y'all at market! Many of you may already know, I got married, we had a baby and my son had some extensive traveling for Tae Kwon Do: Thus the extended leave of absence, but I'm back and ready to continue showing up for the community. Thank you all for your prayers, reviews, and shout outs! Spring Intake and CSA is open. See you soon!

2023 is already over in my mind. I know we're only, almost, about four (4) months in, BUT WE'RE FOUR MONTHS IN! Were did the time go! 

If you haven't been keeping up, WE MOVED annnnndd signed a 20 year cooperative agreement with the Chad Livsey Project to turn The Promised Land into a hub for social justice. We're also managing Bese Saka Community Garden. If you're looking for a place to grow let me know! We have 6 beds left unaccounted for. 

Our seed to fruit three (3) part workshop is back! It will be held at Lake Sheryl. It's $35 a session or $50 for all three parts. Join us! 

We have volunteer days Sunday April 16th & Sunday May 14th at noon. Please use the Eventbrite link to let us know you'll be in the building. 

There is one more thing in the works we can't quite share yet, but stay posted. 

If you missed it I was featured on Conversations with Karen & Cat. Its an informative podcast hosted by two great women who serve our town, were everybody is somebody (Snellville). Check it out!

Can you believe it's 2022?!? I'll be spending the first two weeks of the month restocking, planting and gearing up for the plant sale in March. If you haven't signed up for the Spring/Summer CSA yet, this is month to do it. Through January 26, 2022 you will receive a full share for the price of a half share. That's over $200 in savings. You can learn more about our CSA here. In the meantime, in between time, stay safe!

It's almost the end of the year and we need to do a little tidying up. To do this best we will close our doors from Oct. 4, 2021 to Nov. 1, 2021. While we're restocking and reassessing we won't be taking any outside orders unless you are a part of the CSA. CSA members will get their regular deliveries and pickups. For now, we have suspended Door Dash. In the meantime, we hope you stock up! It's been a pleasure nurturing you this summer. Thank you!

We're opening our porch for porch pickup! We're also opening up for delivery through Doordash. Yes, you can even get your CSA box delivered to you by ordering through Doordash.

Hello everyone!

We received the EIDL loan and grant, thank goodness! We've been working hard to get fall crops in the ground. We're also exploring ways to serve you better.

This pandemic has forced us to recognize the fragility of our common sales outlets. We put our 2020 goals on pause to build a Pharm Store. The Pharm Store will give us better control over our environment. It also gives you all a safe space to grab your favorite goodies without fear.

Hi everyone! We are still working closely with the SBA to get the EIDL advance we are due as well as the loan. We will reopen with just three crew members on the 13th in an effort to get the Pharm going for fall.
